About the role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Supply Chain Management (SCM), the Administrative Assistant SCM is responsible for providing clerical support and performing data entry. This role also includes processing incoming vendor onboarding requests, executing vendor maintenance, and analyzing vendor information to ensure the accuracy and quality of vendor master data.
To be successful, we are looking for a confident and self-motivated administrative professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the successful candidate will be expected to tailor communication appropriately to different audiences.
As an Administrative Assistant in a corporate setting, you will support various complex administrative functions, including data entry, while applying problem-solving and prioritization skills. You will also contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of administrative systems and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with staff across operations, business support groups, and other departments within EVR.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Perform onboarding of new vendors and maintenance of existing vendors in EVR’s ERP system
- Assist in decision-making related to vendor utilization, both current and future
- Support vendor metrics analysis and implement Vendor Data Administration in line with policies and guidelines; assist with special projects such as categorizing new vendors and unblocking suspended vendors
- Comply with Vendor Onboarding policies and guidelines, including Know Your Counterparty (KYC) requirements
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for vendors and management, helping to maintain strong working relationships
- Support the purchasing team with audits and record-keeping requirements
- Develop and maintain dashboards
- Provide support to Microsoft Office Suite® users with internal software programs and applications
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma and/or experience in clerical work, in a mining or industrial setting is preferred
- Strong digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite®: Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
