About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Lead Maintenance Excellence, the Planner, Maintenance is responsible for providing detailed work plans in line with all additional asset builds and mid-life rebuilds to align with mine requirements that improve the efficiency and performance across EVR.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with a background in maintenance and project planning; someone who understands the importance of thorough scope development of a project and be experienced in the use of project planning systems, scheduling tools and techniques. Someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated and can collaborate well with multiple teams. Ability to multitask, prioritize contending demands and remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment is vital for success.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Work with key stakeholders and OEM vendors to develop and implement Asset Delivery plans to align with short and long range mine plan requirements
- Develop detailed project scopes of work, specific to each asset being purchased and or rebuilt
- Working with the Asset Delivery supervisor, sites and Project Lead, prepare detailed cost estimates for each project Appropriation Requisitions
- Working with the Procurement team, issue requests for proposals for each project scope
- Develop and maintain a master program schedule
- Ensure that project agreements are in place with all contractors supporting the Program, and that all requirements for them to work safely on site are met
- Support the Project Lead in the management of Program, contributing to regular project meetings, weekly reports, and presentations
- Ensure that all parts and materials are identified, ordered, and tracked, through to delivery and installation
- Working with the Quality Lead, ensure that all quality activities are planned and implemented
- Utilize and champion a robust process for managing scope change
- Assist with monthly cost forecasting to all open projects with cost analysis to capital project accruals
- Work regularly with site maintainers and all vendors to build or improve detailed work packages bringing forward continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- Trade certification, technical diploma, or degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in mobile maintenance and maintenance reliability in an industrial environment
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Strong digital literacy and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite®®, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
