In this role, you will (Industrial Networking):

  • Design, implement, and maintain industrial network architectures supporting OT systems (LAN/WAN/WLAN). 
  • Support networking for control systems including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMIs, historians, and safety systems. 
  • Configure and manage industrial Ethernet and fieldbus networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP). 
  • Maintain documentation and communication 
  • Network Equipment Configuration (Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls, and Cisco wireless access points) 
  • Support for OT network systems and sites operations 
  • Network Monitoring and logging data 
  • Support the team in current and new projects and initiative

In this role, you will (Operational Technology):

  • Proactive monitoring of OT servers, workstations, and other systems 
  • Patching of OT assets 
  • Computer imaging for new projects and upgrades 
  • ServiceNow backlog management and incident response 
  • Documentation, including maintenance of OT asset list, data flow diagrams 
  • WhatsUpGold configuration for monitoring of assets   

In this role, you will (Telemetry):

  • Server maintenance for production of telemetry applications, including server commissioning, decommissioning, patching, monitoring, and finding ways to improve reliability. 
  • Contribute to EVR's data quality by monitoring connectivity of mining equipment and their data collection systems. 
  • Support EVR's asset health platform including data pipelines, time series database, and visualization web app.  

Requirements:

  • Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering   
  • Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously   
  • Able to demonstrate creative problem solving, good communication and organization skills with solid understanding of Windows environment     
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a willingness to work outdoors and able to operate vehicles at our operations, in various weather conditions and terrain 
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels and partners   
  • Proven ability to learn innovative technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently 
  • Understanding of WhatsUp Gold, ServiceNow, PLC's, IO servers, c, c++, Power shell, SQL, Python, Cisco switches Fortinet firewall, Cisco wireless access points, RTUs, PLCs, IoT/edge devices, SCADA and historian integrations, Power BI is an asset (Depends on the role)

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed
