About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Operations, the Coordinator, Marketing Operations manages customer shipments from agreement to payment and is the initial point of contact for EVR’s global customers.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Provide superior customer service to international coal customers across Incoterm sales, including CFR, FOB, DDP, FCA and Port-Transport, for long-term and spot sales
- Process and maintain sales contracts, shipment orders and required approvals within internal systems
- Coordinate vessel, train and barge shipments with customers, ports, carriers, agents, customs brokers, laboratories, surveyors, banks and other external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation, approval and distribution of shipping documentation, loading instructions, certificates and Bills of Lading
- Screen and nominate vessels, communicate shipment requirements and support loading activities with ports, terminals and service providers
- Calculate shipment pricing and prepare sales invoices, Proforma Invoices, final pricing invoices, credit/debit notes, settlements and vessel laytime statements
- Review and monitor Letters of Credit, customs declarations and CERS reporting requirements, requesting amendments or corrections as required
- Track customer payments and support Finance with cash forecasting, receivables, alternative financing structures and expected receipts
- Coordinate with commercial, technical, rail, port, mine, credit, finance, IS, accounting and management teams, and support internal and external audits
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or related post-secondary education; CITT designation considered an asset
- Minimum three years of relevant experience, with demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; SAP and CRM experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate documentation, manage data and maintain compliance with sales policies and procedures
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multitask and meet internal and external deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of supply chain, production scheduling and logistics preferred
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, shipping documentation and sales contracts considered an asset
