Officer (Environmental) Jnr, Fixed Term Contract

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation
• To report environmental incidents and assist to conduct investigations.
• Conduct plant inspections and ensure that deviations are addressed.
• Prepare and attend internal and external environmental audits and inspections.
• Compile environmental reports and assists with water and quality monthly sampling.
• Assist in the execution of the environmental awareness plans

About you:

• National Diploma in Environmental Management
• At least 3 years relevant working environment in a mining environment
• ISO 14001 system experience
• Isometrix system experience
• SAP and Coupa knowledge
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Driver’s license and own transport
• Medically fit
