Artisan (Fitter)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Inspections, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on the following typical equipment.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, crushers, conveyors, apron feeders, vibrating grizzly feeders, overhead cranes, and pumps.
• Conduct work in accordance with safe works procedures and practices.
• New installations and plant improvements
• Management of critical spares
• Ensuring plant availability

 

About you:

• N2 with relevant trade subjects
• Relevant Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 or 26D)
• 3 Years’ working experience in a mining / plant environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Medically fit
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Must be willing to work shifts and standby including weekends.
