HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the General Foreman – Energy Production, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the operation and maintenance of the main power plant and auxiliary facilities.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of power generation equipment.
- Lead and motivate the teams of mechanical operators and contractors under your supervision.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Lead safety meetings, conduct inspections, and participate in incident investigations.
- Manage work schedules, training needs, and employee development.
- Monitor maintenance and operating costs and ensure adherence to established budgets.
- Collaborate with the various departments on-site to ensure operational continuity.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) or a bachelor’s degree in a mechanical or electrical field.
- Have at least five (5) years of experience supervising maintenance and/or operations in an industrial setting, ideally in energy production.
- Demonstrate inspirational leadership in health and safety, fostering a strong, proactive OHS culture focused on risk prevention.
- Knowledge of energy production, electrical distribution networks, and heat transfer is a plus.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Hold a valid driver’s license
