HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the General Foreman – Energetic Production, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of power generation equipment to ensure its performance, reliability, and safety. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Optimizing and supervising power plant operating practices to improve performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety.
- Develop, implement, and monitor tools and processes aimed at continuously improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Conduct investigations following outages or incidents, make recommendations, and ensure the implementation of corrective measures.
- Participate in the strategic planning and development of the Mine Raglan power generation network.
- Ensure the performance and efficiency of the thermal heating system for surface facilities.
- Contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of major outages as well as various power plant projects.
- Work closely with the organization’s various departments to harmonize and standardize operational practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures, regulations, and technical specifications.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automated production engineering or any other field deemed relevant.
- Experience in industrial environments, including significant experience in industrial equipment maintenance and operation.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Leadership, rigor, autonomy, teamwork and priority management.
- Valid driver's license.
