HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Superintendent - Concentrator, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development, acquisition, and maintenance of the department’s employees’ skills. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing the development and training needs of the concentrator sectors.
- Designing, developing, and presenting training and development plans, taking into account human, financial, legal, organizational, and pedagogical aspects.
- Deliver training and supervise internal and external trainers, while monitoring the cost-effectiveness of various services.
- Evaluate participants’ training outcomes, recommend promotions, and establish processes for transferring acquired skills.
- Maintain the training data tracking system (ISOVISION) and provide training on its use for the department.
- Ensure that legal and operational training materials and procedure manuals are up to date for the department’s employees.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in metallurgy, ore processing, or any other related field, combined with five (5) years of experience in an industrial setting as a trainer. Any other training deemed relevant may be considered.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SIMS, and SAP.
- Working knowledge of English is an asset.
