HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the General Foreman – Maintenance, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your main duties will be:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on light equipment used in mining operations and by the surface mobile equipment department (Toyota and GMC light trucks, etc.).
- Performing troubleshooting, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Analyzing breakdowns, inspecting parts, and performing various tasks related to a mechanical workshop.
- Using maintenance and parts management software as part of daily activities.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Holder of a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in construction equipment mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, or automotive mechanics, combined with five (5) years of experience with Chevrolet or Toyota products.
- Experience with Toyota and GM mining products, as well as in automotive electronics and electrical systems, is a significant asset.
- Experience in the mining industry and at automotive dealerships will be considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and explosives permit.
- Working knowledge of English is an asset.
