HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the General Foreman - Energy Production, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its health and safety results. Your primary duties will be:

  • Help oversee the strategic management of surface electrical facilities across the entire mining site.
  • Conduct audits to validate critical controls and health and safety practices in order to promote and improve them.
  • Serve as a liaison between the surface electrical and power plant departments and the project, prevention, environmental, and other teams.
  • Identify, propose, and organize relevant technical training and ensure team members’ compliance.
  • Plan and oversee the involvement of external experts.
  • Participate in the development of budgets for surface electrical systems and the power plant.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology – Automation and Control, Industrial Electronics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or any other field deemed equivalent
  • Have relevant experience supervising electrical or mechanical maintenance teams, or in industrial maintenance management, or any other combination of experience related to the position.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingualism is required.
