Under the Operations Technology Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your primary duties will be:

  • Helping to develop procedures for selecting telecommunications equipment to ensure its compliance and reliability.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a preventive maintenance program for this equipment.
  • Perform and supervise installation and maintenance work on-site while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
  • Keep technical documentation (drawings, functional diagrams, manuals) and routine operating procedures up to date
  • Participate in the development and deployment of telecommunications infrastructure upgrade projects
  • Lead troubleshooting in the event of outages and promote customer service that minimizes operational impacts.
  • Actively participate in the research and selection of telecommunications-related software and digital applications.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) with a specialization in networking and telecommunications. A vocational diploma (DEP) specializing in telecommunications may also be considered.
  • Experience with the configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and cabling of equipment.
  • Experience with telecommunications systems (LTE, microwave, VHF/UHF, satellites).
  • Experience with network infrastructure, software, and digital applications.
  • Valid driver’s license
