HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Supervisor – Underground Electrical, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe unique and motivating environment. Your main duties will be:
- Carry out construction, installation, and preventive and corrective maintenance work on underground electrical installations.
- Perform installation of underground electrical infrastructure (transformer, circuit breaker, motor control, variable frequency drives, measuring instruments, control valves and communication systems).
- Perform electrical maintenance on the ore handling system, fans, pumps, and mobile production equipment.
- Repair, adjust, calibrate, assemble, disassemble, and handle underground electrical equipment.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Holder of a college diploma in electrical engineering technology – automation and control, or an attestation of college studies in industrial automation and instrumentation with two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Or hold vocational diploma of studies in Electricity combined with five (5) years of relevant experience with automation and teleoperation systems in the mining industry.
- Hold a certificate of competency in electricity (C license).
- Experience in the field of electrical distribution.
- Modular training courses for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.
- Valid driver's license and general explosives license
