HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Chief – Electrical Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on electrical installations in various sectors of Raglan Mine (concentrator, airport, power plant, underground mines, various surface buildings on the mine site, etc.) Your main duties will be:
- Establish maintenance strategies and identify future needs to maintain and improve the electrical reliability of equipment.
- Participate in the implementation of a maintenance strategy that promotes the use of the best techniques for monitoring equipment condition and performance.
- Coordinate and plan major electrical shutdowns to ensure the long-term operability of electrical equipment.
- Participate in the coordination of maintenance engineering work (engineering, plan design, load calculations, electrical code application, etc.).
- Support operations in their daily activities.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Mastery of the concepts of protection coordination, synchronization and asynchrony motors, protection and short-circuit current, as well as low and medium voltage electrical distribution.
- Experience in industrial environments, including significant experience in the maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing electrical work.
- Working knowledge of English.
