HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Senior Project Geologist, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its health and safety results and is oriented towards new technologies in the mining sector. Your main duties will be:
- Coordinate the work performed by contractor teams and supervising exploration technicians and laborers.
- Ensure that field activities comply with planning, company standards, and corporate health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Collaborate with departmental stakeholders (project geologists, coordinators, and geophysicists) as well as interdepartmental teams to ensure adherence to plans, schedules, and requirements.
- Participate in inspections and risk assessments and issue recommendations.
- Prepare work progress reports.
- Manage the quality and condition of the vehicle fleet (trucks and ATVs).
PROFILE REQUIRED
- DEC in Mineral Technology, or a bachelor's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering, or any other related degree, combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of mineral exploration, including supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in helicopter-supported drilling (asset).
- Valid firearms permit (asset).
- Functional knowledge of English (asset).
- Proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, data?management tools in MS Excel, dashboard tools (Power BI), GIS tools (QGIS), and/or administrative systems as SAP
