MINING TECHNICIAN – ENGINEERING

1 TEMPORARY POSITION – 12 MONTHS

HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its commitment to health and safety, in addition to touching on different spheres of the mining industry. Your main duties will be :

  • Carry out ventilation and surveying surveys.
  • Process, model and report on data collected in the field.
  • Prepare plans and monitor drilling and blasting operations.
  • Follow-up on the conformity of mine support work in the field.
  • Maintain official plans and all related documents.
  • Provide support in various technical specialties to the engineering and mining operations teams.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • College diploma in mineral technology.
  • Knowledge of computer tools from the Office suite, Autocad, Promine, SAP and SIMS.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and general explosives permit.
  • Modular training for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, et 7 (mandatory).
  • knowledge of English (asset).
