HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Under the Senior Engineer – Mining Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its health and safety results and is oriented towards new technologies in the mining sector. Your main duties will be:
- Develop blasting plans and concepts according to established guidelines.
- Participate in monitoring and optimizing ventilation, field control, drilling and blasting processes, and all other activities related to mining operations.
- Coordinate weekly planning with the production team
- Provide guidance to the team on safety matters.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Hold a bachelor's degree in mining engineering and be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
- Personnel management and health and safety skills
- Be able to use softwares of the Office suite, AutoCAD, Promine, Deswik and SAP
- Hold a valid driver's license and a general explosive permit.
- Have completed the modular training for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 (asset).
- Working knowledge of English required.
