HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Under the General foreman – Surface Services, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its health and safety results and is oriented towards new technologies in the mining sector. Your main duties will be:
- Supervise a team of heavy equipment operators who are responsible for yard service, road maintenance, tailings pond, airport and transportation of equipment and passengers.
- Implement standards and regulations related to occupational health and safety, the environment and loss control.
- Collaborate in the drafting of various work procedures, accident investigations and analyses.
- Participate in planned inspections and holding of safety meetings.
- Carry out rigorous planning of activities and employee training.
- Monitor the annual budget.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Holder of a college diploma in civil engineering technology, mining or equivalent, combined with 5 years of experience in supervision or a high school diploma combined with at least 8 years of experience as a supervisor in the mining industry or in road maintenance may also be considered.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to work with computer tools, including the Office Suite and SAP.
- A working knowledge of English is required
