HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Superintendent – Human Capital, you will hold a generalist position in human resources/industrial relations. Your main tasks will be:
- Enforce and ensure compliance with the two collective agreements in effect and participate in grievance investigations and other matters.
- Ensure compliance with existing policies and agreements.
- Provide support for administrative file management, staff hiring, and employee benefits.
- Advise managers at various levels on human resources and labor relations issues.
- Provide managers and employees with training sessions on labor relations, as needed.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in a unionized environment, including three (3) years in labor relations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of English is required.
