HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
As an Advisor - Workplace Attendance, you will be responsible for managing disability files for all Raglan Mine employees, for both personal and work-related absences. Your main duties will be:
- Ensuring the application of the absence/disability management policy for all Raglan Mine employees;
- Representing Raglan Mine before the Administrative Labour Tribunal (TAT) if required;
- Collaborating with the insurance company and the CNESST (Quebec's workplace health and safety board) regarding file follow-up;
- Following up with employees and liaising with the Human Resources department;
- Communicating with treating physicians to obtain clear information on the health condition of absent employees;
- Developing, in collaboration with the relevant departments and the Raglan Mine health services nurses, return-to-work plans for employees following a personal or work-related absence;
- Supervising the Workplace Attendance Nurse.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience managing complex disability and workplace injury cases.
- Membership in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (Order of Certified Human Resources Professionals) or the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (Order of Nurses of Quebec) is an asset.
- Functional knowledge of both French and English is required.
