HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Environment Superintendent, you will have the opportunity to support, advise, and ensure the operational efficiency of various sectors in achieving compliance and adherence to environmental standards. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and agreements, as well as ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the environmental management system. Your main tasks will be:
- Manage the environmental management system (EMS, ISO 14001), review it, and determine employee information and training needs.
- Supervise and manage weekly, monthly, and annual environmental monitoring, as well as unplanned environmental and administrative emergencies.
- Assist sectors by providing the necessary instructions regarding environmental protection.
- Compile and enter data into monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure compliance with corporate protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Raglan Mine health and safety procedures.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in environment of a College diploma in an environment-related field combined with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental laws and regulations and the environmental management system (ISO 14001).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, PI, EQWin, and Power BI.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilinguali French and English is required.
