HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

 

Reporting to the General Foreman – Capex Construction, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating medium- and long-term work and ensuring that this work related to surface mining operations runs smoothly.  Your main duties will be:

 

  • Coordinating projects and ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with Raglan Mine standards and allocated budgets.
  • Plan the contractor's annual activities according to the mandates of various clients.
  • Supervise and monitor the contractor's activities in accordance with the scope of work.
  • Perform quality control of the contractor's mandates in relation to the scope of work and client requirements.
  • Manage work, emergencies, and requests that cannot be planned while optimizing costs, labor, and equipment when work is requested.
  • Update surface mining operations procedures.
  • Develop and maintain performance indicators related to various surface mining operations and projects.
  • Carry out preventive activities such as planned inspections, compliance audits, risk analyses, etc.
  • Apply and enforce the company's health, safety, and environmental values.
  • Participate in contract negotiations by establishing customer needs and priorities.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

 

  • College diploma in mineral technology or civil engineering technology combined with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in aggregate inventory management, water treatment, or civil construction
  • Ability to plan and organize work, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and explosive permit.
