HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

 Under the Senior Mining Engineering Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its commitments to health and safety. Your main duties will be:

  • Develop mining plans and concepts according to established guidelines.
  • Participate in the follow-up and optimization of the mine ventilation, ground control, drilling and blasting processes, and all other activities related to the operation of the mining area.
  • Coordinate weekly planning with the production team.
  • Mentor team in terms of health and safety.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in mining engineering and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Have knowledge of Office suite including PowerBI, AutoCad, Promine, Deswik and SIMS.
  • Demonstrate skills in personnel management and health and safety.
  • Have a valid class 5 driver’s license and general explosives permit.
  • Have completed the modular training for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, et 7 (mandatory).
  • Have working knowledge of English (asset).
