Group Finance Function

Our Group Finance function is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team in Jakarta, supporting core accounting operations, tax compliance, and month-end/audit processes.
The main tasks and responsibilities include

Perform day-to-day accounting entries in SAP.

Process vendor payments, tax payments, and employee reimbursements.

Prepare sales invoices and faktur pajak (tax invoices).

Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
-
Collect and distribute Bukti Potong (withholding tax certificates).

Maintain organized document filing systems.
-
Prepare month-end closing activities.
-
Calculate and prepare tax reconciliations, including Sales vs. VAT equalization and Withholding Tax equalization (PPh23, PPh26, PPh4(2)).

Ensure full compliance with statutory tax requirements.

Prepare supporting documentation for audits and liaise directly with external auditors to complete statutory audits.

Coordinate with site administrators and cross-functional departments.

Provide support to managers and team leads with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Respond promptly to management information requests.

Qualifications and requirements

Bachelor's degree in Economics or Accounting from a reputable tertiary university.

3–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Prior experience in a trade accountant role within the Mining industry is preferred.

Proficiency in English communication, including writing and speaking, is essential.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines on your own.

Practical experience with SAP FI/CO and advanced MS Excel skills required.

Solid understanding of PSAK & IFRS accounting standards and Indonesian taxation (local/international tax procedures, reporting, and audit).

Brevet A & B certification beneficial.
