Business Change Manager

As a Glencore Business Change Manager, you will ensure the successful design, rollout, and implementation of activities across people, process and system change. You will drive the implementation of projects, new business and smaller, ad hoc requests aimed at continually improving the Global Energy Group, ensuring any changes to the business are delivered smoothly and with a positive impact.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between internal departments, being able to clearly articulate priorities, ensuring views and priorities are well articulated.
- Actively build strong relationships across the business, which spans multiple geographies, to gather and represent views.
- Facilitate strong levels of engagement with colleagues across the business and encourage their participation in embracing and embedding change, through coordinating communications, training, user testing and changes to business processes and procedures.
- Work on projects covering people, process and system change, including strong collaboration with the IT department
- Proactively probe for continuous improvement opportunities in processes and work with colleagues to make necessary changes.
- Act with entrepreneurial spirit, being somewhat self-sufficient, however seeking review and input when necessary or upon the identification and escalation of issues or blockers.
- Any ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time
The ideal candidate:
- 3+ years of experience across either or both;
- Working within a commercial/risk environment within a physical commodity trader and/ or within consultancy / business change within this industry.
- Project Management or Business Change Management
- Experience / understanding of physical oil, gas and power across MOTs and geographies (desired)
- Experience in systems implementation (functional lens)
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in complex, interdependent scenarios and situations.
- Good communicator, clearly articulating key outputs and next steps.
- Experience of documenting processes and controls
- Ability to create high quality deliverables and outputs with sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to pick up new concepts quickly
- Pro-active in approach (e.g., spots issues and challenges and actively works to address these)
- Conversational Spanish (desired)
What We Offer:
- The expected base salary ranges from $120K -$150K. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
