Employee Commodity Product Safety

The Employee Product Safety manages the compliance with national and international product safety/chemical management regulations and on preparing the necessary reports surrounding them.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Authoring and maintenance of Safety data sheets (SDS) and SDS management system.
  • Managing the relationship with the SDS/regular affairs service provider and assist with SDS related inquiries of traffic.
  • Regularly review the hazard profiles of our products based on progressing knowledge and changing regulatory requirements.
  • Manages the organisation’s SDS and products portfolio, its compliance with respective regulations (material and volume tracking).
  • Maintaining the organisation’s existing registration dossiers and similar data files.
  • Advising logistics on the regulatory requirements of our products, for example Transportation dangerous goods and hazard communication.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Degree in life sciences, chemistry, toxicology or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in an international business environment, with affinity in the area of product safety.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational and communicative skills.
  • Skilled at identifying key priorities and allocating time appropriately.
  • Efficient and well-organized working skills as well as effective ability in using basic business IT-applications are essential to success;
  • Fluency in English (corporate language), and a good understanding of any other language (such as Dutch) are considered beneficial.
  • Project management skills.
