The Compliance team is looking to recruit a Compliance Assistant to help support with on-boarding and third - party risk management. Whilst the focus of the role will be on KYC, this role will assist with other aspects of the Glencore Compliance Programme, including vessel screening, risk assessment and training.
The position compasses duties and responsibilities as follows:

Maintain complete and accurate KYC due diligence records on new and existing counterparties and non-trade vendors, ensuring that relevant databases are updated to reflect completion of review.

Escalate all concerns and issues as appropriate.

Influence improvements to current processes.

Maintain and enhance effective interaction and communication with other units/business areas and counterparties.

Ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time.
The idea candidate dispose of:

Educated to degree level as a minimum.

Experience in KYC analysis is preferred

Experience of working within the energy and or commodity trading sector is an advantage

An interest in building a career within compliance.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Analytical with an eye for attention to detail.

Capable of working with significant autonomy.
