2026 Summer Analytics InternshipYour key responsibilities and accountabilities will be:
- Analyze and report Commodities data across Oil & Natural Gas derivative markets
- Assist in producing detailed reports and apply data science techniques to analyze data patterns, relationships and impact of fundamentals.
- Analyze data to build databases and models (regression, LLM etc.) to forecast components.
- Work directly with internal team of commodity analysts across oil & NG desks.
- Input and maintain data integrity for the relevant systems.
As the successful candidate you will have experience in, and demonstrate the following:
- Pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, data science or related fields with excellent academic record.
- Strong analysis/writing/planning skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel & Word
- Proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and good time management / organizational skills.
- Ambitious and entrepreneurial, willing to learn.
- Strong interest in international commodity markets.
- This is a paid internship – $23/hour
- In person office attendance is required in accordance with Glencore’s US policy; our hours are 8:30am-5:00pm
- Office is located at New York
- Intern will be responsible for transport costs to/from the Glencore office.
- Summer 2026 – estimated start date June 1, 2026.
