MetricStream Business Process Analyst

ERM Industrial Assets Department

Location: Chennai, India/ Melrose, South Africa / London, United Kingdom

We are looking for a motivated and analytical MetricStream Business Process Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in understanding business requirements, analysing processes, and facilitating the implementation of MetricStream solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) framework meets organizational needs and supports effective decision-making.

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders to inform the design and implementation of MetricStream solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HSEC, IT, compliance, risk management, and business units, to ensure alignment of business objectives with technology solutions.

  • Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements within the MetricStream platform.

  • Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories to guide development and implementation efforts.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, clarify expectations, and validate solutions.

  • Assist in the testing and validation of new features and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.

  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption of MetricStream solutions.

  • Prepare training material including presentations, quick reference guides, videos etc. and roll out plan for module owners and departments within Glencore

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GRC and business analysis to provide insights and recommendations.

Technical Experience:

  • Degree (e.g., BA, BSc) or professional certifications in computer science, Information technology, or a related field.

  • 8+ years’ experience delivering MetricStream or similar GRC implementations in global organizations.

  • Extensive experience as a business analyst, preferably with MetricStream or similar GRC applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders & ability to collaborate across departments and cultures.

  • Familiarity with process mapping, requirements gathering techniques, and documentation standards.

  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools is beneficial.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and work effectively in demanding situations.

  • Knowledge of MetricStream features and technology across modules such as Audit, Risk, Compliance, Incidents, Issues and Action management amongst others.

  • Knowledge of data governance and the integration of Risk, Audit, and HSEC processes.

Our Ideal candidate:

  • A solutions-focused individual who can work with teams through complex challenges while maintaining clarity on priorities and outcomes.

  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, and audit processes.

  • Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is beneficial.

  • Awareness of natural resources sector compliance challenges and emerging GRC & ERM trends, is beneficial.
