Metricstream Solution Support, QA Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive GRC MetricStream Solution Support QA Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of the MetricStream application in the Production environment. You will work closely with development teams (both internal as well as external), business analysts, and business users to identify and resolve issues, while also validating enhancements and updates. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations globally.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:

Working closely with the business teams to log and triage defects, change requests, enhancements, and integration requirements.

Provide timely and effective support for the MetricStream platform, addressing user inquiries and technical issues.

Execute functional, regression, and performance testing for the MetricStream application in production.

Collaborate with production support teams to identify, document, and resolve issues impacting application performance.

Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and enhancements.

Conduct thorough testing of application changes and validate compliance with business requirements.

Monitor production incidents, analyse root causes, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and effective communication of status.

Participate in the development and implementation of QA best practices and processes.

Document and report testing results, including defect tracking and status reporting.

Collaborate with development and MetricStream external teams to identify, analyse, and resolve production issues.

Assist in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities as required.

Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of the MetricStream platform.

Performance monitoring: Develop and track KPIs to measure platform response times.
Technical Experience:
-
Degree (e.g., BA, BSc) or professional certifications in computer science, Information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in quality assurance and testing, preferably with MetricStream or similar GRC applications focusing on Audit, Incidents, Risk, and compliance management applications.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with shifting priorities.

Knowledge of MetricStream features and technology (BAPI journeys, PL-SQL, JAVA and MetricStream reporting tools, Power BI etc.)

Mastery in Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Power BI.
