MetricStream Delivery Lead

ERM Industrial Assets Department

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven MetricStream Delivery Lead to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of MetricStream solutions at Glencore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes. You will be responsible for delivering to project timelines and manage technical and functional resources both internally as well as with Glencore’s third-party vendors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations globally.

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Lead the delivery of MetricStream implementation at Glencore, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation and timelines.

  • Monitor project progress to plan, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate status, address challenges and escalations as necessary.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in project management and GRC implementations.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, building a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Technical Experience:

  • Degree (e.g., BA, BSc) or professional certifications in computer science, Information technology, or a related field.

  • 10+ years’ experience delivering and managing MetricStream implementations in global organizations.

  • Extensive experience as a delivery lead, preferably with MetricStream or similar GRC platforms.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and work in challenging situations.

  • Strong structured problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written & ability to collaborate across departments and cultures

  • Knowledge of MetricStream features and technology (BAPI journeys, PL-SQL, JAVA and MetricStream reporting tools, Power BI etc.)

  • Knowledge of data governance and the integration of Risk, Audit, and HSEC processes.

Our Ideal candidate:

  • A solutions-focused individual who can work with teams through complex challenges while maintaining clarity on priorities and outcomes.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is beneficial.

  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, and audit processes.

  • Awareness of natural resources sector compliance challenges and emerging GRC & ERM trends, is beneficial.
