Weekend Nat Gas Scheduler
Location: Houston, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: This role will be 4 days/week. Remote on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am-7pm. In-Person on Mondays and Fridays at the Glencore Houston office.

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Natural Gas Scheduler to join our team and ensure the effective management of natural gas operations during weekend gas cycle hours.
Job Summary: The Weekend Natural Gas Scheduler will be responsible for assessing cuts and scheduling and coordinating the transportation and delivery of natural gas to meet client demands. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage daily natural gas flow schedules to optimize transportation capacities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, pipelines, and customers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of natural gas.
• Monitor market conditions and pipeline flows to adjust schedules as necessary.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make informed scheduling decisions.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, contracts, and communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
• Experience in natural gas scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work weekends and adjust to changing demands.
