The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

The position will be based in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. 

This is a six (6) month contract staff position.

Range of Pay: $93,000 - 95,500

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Duties and Accountabilities: 

Reporting to the Organizational Development Specialist, the position plays a key role in ensuring that the organizational development activities for the Company are handled in a progressive and efficient manner by providing quality support.  Primary duties include supporting the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling selection processes, performing reference checks, assisting in shortlisting and issuing employment offer letters.  The position also requires participation in school and career fairs.

Education and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess a post-secondary degree in business, industrial relations or psychology and have a minimum of 1-3 years’ related experience.  The position also requires a high degree of competencies in the following areas: communication/listening, confidentiality, organizational and computer skills.  The ideal candidate can handle multiple priorities and a heavy workload.
