The Opportunity 

We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Underground Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic) to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations. 

The position will be based in Greater Sudbury (Onaping), Ontario.

This is a full-time, permanent, unionized position.

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $39.72 to $41.82 per hour, with wage progression based on apprenticeship level and hours completed, the position is eligible for applicable bonuses.

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

About You

Your personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your growth in this role. 

Education and Skills

Applicants must be a certified Automotive Service Technician with at least three years recent, relevant experience working in an underground mine, and possess a valid drivers license.

This position requires strong mechanical and communication skills both written and orally.
