Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for an experienced Stores Officer to join our established and dedicated team.
Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for efficient and timely processing of requisitions, receipts and deliveries in our onsite Warehouse.
You will be responsible for:
- Processing requisitions and stock/sale Issues
- Inspecting & receiving incoming goods with accuracy and in a timely manner
- Undertaking accurate stock returns including processing all relevant paperwork and updating computer systems
- Dispatching goods from site safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Ensuring safe work procedures and statutory requirements are followed for the storage of all dangerous goods
- Providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
About You
This role would suit an experienced Stores Officer. You will also have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in the mining industry
- A current and valid manual C-Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Experience with operating a forklift, and hold a current High Risk Work Licence (LF)
- Exposure to computer based warehousing procurement software (SAP preferred)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
