About the role
Murrin Murrin Operations includes a large open pit mining operation supporting one of the world’s largest nickel and cobalt processing facilities. Accurate surveying is critical to ensuring safe and efficient mining operations while maintaining alignment with mine designs and operational plans.

Working a FIFO 8/6 roster on-site, Graduate surveyors at Murrin Murrin will gain exposure to modern mine surveying technologies and practices within a large mining operation. Working alongside experienced surveyors, graduates will support pit development, production mark-ups, survey control networks and the accurate representation of mining progress. Exposure to advanced surveying equipment and modern mine planning systems provides an excellent foundation for developing technical surveying expertise within the resources sector. The program commences in February 2027.

About You
  • Qualified with a bachelor’s degree in surveying, Spatial Science or similar discipline (prior to commencement)
  • Strong interest in mine surveying and spatial data within a mining environment
  • Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and accuracy in all outputs
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with mining and technical teams
  • High level of computer literacy, including surveying software and data management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
  • Willingness and ability to work in a remote FIFO environment
