Located in Western Australia’s northern Goldfields, Murrin Murrin Operations operates across a significant mining footprint with integrated mining and processing infrastructure. Environmental management is a critical component of the operation, ensuring responsible mining practices while protecting the surrounding environment and supporting long-term operational sustainability.
Working a FIFO 8/6 roster on-site, Environmental graduates at Murrin Murrin will gain hands-on experience in environmental monitoring, compliance and improvement initiatives across a large and diverse operational environment. From water management and air quality monitoring to rehabilitation planning and environmental reporting, graduates will work alongside experienced environmental professionals to support the responsible management of one of Australia’s largest nickel mining and processing operations. The program commences in February 2027.

About You
- Qualified with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering or similar discipline (prior to commencement)
- Strong interest in environmental management within the resources sector
- Committed to sustainable practices and maintaining compliance with environmental standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and liaise with stakeholders
- High level of computer literacy, including data management and environmental monitoring systems
- Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Willingness and ability to work in a remote FIFO environment
