Minara Resources has an opportunity for a skilled Larox Operator/Maintainer to join our team located at our Murrin Murrin Operations.

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Larox Operator/Maintainer to join our maintenance team in our Refinery area of our processing plant. This position specialises in the maintenance and operation duties of the Larox Filter, to ensure the availability of the Larox and other associated equipment.
Working in a crew on a rotating shift roster and reporting to a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, reactive breakdown maintenance and shutdown work on the filter.
About You
As a minimum, you will have a Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or trade qualification in any other mechanical trade, coupled with fixed plant mechanical maintenance experience. It would be highly advantageous if you have previous working experience with Larox Filters.
- Good problem solving skill set
- Good communication skill set (role will involve liaising with other departments i.e.. Electrical, Planners & Operations)
- Be able to work as autonomously or part of a group (day to day work tasks & group work with Vendor company for planned shutdowns)
- Planning / prep work for upcoming shutdowns
- Dogging & Riggers HRLW ticket preferred
The following additional experience and/or qualifications are required for the position:
- Laterite nickel process plant or refinery experience
- Hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs
- Confined space, working at heights or hazardous area training
- Understanding of production and maintenance strategies for large-scale, continuous operating plants
- Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety & Environmental procedures, legislation policies and management systems
- Good Computer skills
- WA Manual Driver’s Licence
