Boilermaker / Welder Leading Hand

Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experience Boilermaker / Welder looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the day-to-day running of our complex process plant.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing guidance to the workshop team and following processes/procedure as directed by your Supervisor
• Undertaking Boiler making duties and some welding in line with fabrication requirements as directed by your Supervisor
• Consulting with fabrication team to ensure all fabrication and welding is carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with specifications and
• Assisting in the completion of breakdown and shutdown maintenance as required.

About You

This role would suit a fabrication specialist with leading hand exposure who is looking for long-term job security in a thriving team environment. You will also:

• Hold relevant Trade Certificate/s and have Coded Welding skills
• Previous experience working as a boilermaker leading hand within a process plant environment
• A current & valid manual drivers licence
• Able to pass multiple weld tests to ASME IX/ AS3992 on a range of materials including carbon steel, various stainless steels, nickel alloys and titanium
• Able to work in confined spaces, restricted areas and at heights; and
• Have a fundamental understanding of Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental procedures with a proactive approach to personal safety.
