Planner - Shutdowns

 

Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Shutdown Planner to join our team.

The Role

The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for planning and preparing maintenance shutdowns across site, to optimise the productivity of the plant through asset availability.

You will be responsible for:

• Building shutdown schedules, including creating work orders through our CMMS, communicating with site based and offsite stakeholders, arranging the resourcing required for shutdown execution, and ensuring the correct materials and spares are available
• Optimising plant availability, reliability, performance, and safety through the review of existing, and the development of new shutdown maintenance strategies, instructions and documents
• Keeping the company dedicated CMMS up to date with effective maintenance plans and procedures
• Maintaining effective interaction with the maintenance and production departments
• Actively develop a culture of teamwork and development within Planning and Shutdown Teams

About You

This role would suit a Shutdown or Mechanical Planner with previous experience in CMMS within a fixed plant/refinery environment who is looking for job security and career opportunities. You will also have:

• An Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification/s (preferred)
• Your current and valid manual Australian Driver’s licence
• Thorough knowledge of modern maintenance planning and scheduling philosophies
• Proven ability to plan and schedule for multiple areas and disciplines
• Practiced trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments
• Adaptable computer skills with the ability to use a CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite, including Project
