Crushing Supervisor

Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Mining Supervisor to join our established and talented Calcrete Crushing team.

The Role

The 'Mining Supervisor – Calcrete Crushing' is responsible for coordinating and supervising all crushing operations at the site to ensure safe, efficient, and productive work practices are followed. They will provide leadership within the Calcrete Crushing team, manage equipment utilization, supervise maintenance activities, and ensure adherence to all health and safety, environmental and company policies.

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising crushing plant operations for our Calcrete facility
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of operators, technicians, and support staff.
• Organise daily work schedules and allocate resources accordingly.
• Monitor plant performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to maximize equipment uptime.
• Assist in adjusting process parameters and workflows to achieve targeted production and quality metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and protocols.
• Lead by example with a strong safety culture and participate in incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Conduct pre-starts, supervise inspections and promote environmentally responsible work practices.

About You

The role would suit an experienced mining crushing professional with a proven track record in leadership and supervision. 

You will also have:

• Experience in fixed plant operation and operating forklifts, skid steers and loaders
• Demonstrated success as an effective leader in a customer focused work environment
• Previous experience in crushing and/or supervision
• Previous Operator and Basic Maintaining experience for fixed or mobile crushing plants
• A demonstrated application of continuous improvement ideas
• Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing and spreadsheet applications
• A current Western Australian C-Class manual drivers’ licence.
