QUALIFICATIONS
 
•    Grade 12  
•    Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory 
•    Mechanical trade certificate.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

•    3 years’ relevant experience in heavy industry which includes 1 year in a senior position
•    Manage of Mechanical and Fabrication Workshop personnel 
•    Due to Care and Maintenance environment person must be able to work independently
•    SAP, Coupa and Isometrix experience 
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be responsible to the Works Manager for the following:

•    Coordination of the Mechanical and Fabrication team, which includes controlling of Care and Maintenance activities, personnel, budgets and HSEQ systems compliance 
•    Provide adaptable support throughout compliance audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
•    Maintain discipline in the issuing, receiving, and capturing of PM orders continuously
•    Ensuring spares availability, managing and reporting critical spares, managing special equipment’s and tools for artisans.
•    Sign off works orders on SAP 
•    Preventative Maintenance, Complete Tool Check List
•    Planned maintenance system inspection
•    Time and Attendance check and sign off
•    Standby duties
