QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12
• Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
• Instrumentation trade certificate
• Completed POE for Section 26D trade certificate

 

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year post trade test experience in a heavy industry environment
• Siemens S7 PLC and Wincc experience
• Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality awareness
• Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
• SAP and Coupa knowledge will be advantageous
• Able to work under pressure, adaptable, attention to detail

 

JOB OBJECTIVES

In this role you will be reporting to the Artisan Coordinator for the following:

• Installation of field instrumentation
• Routine Maintenance of field instrumentation
• Fault finding on field instrumentation
• Calibration of field instrumentation
• Commissioning and de-commissioning of field instrumentation
• Basic PLC Hardware Maintenance
• The employee will always adhere to the Company rules, standing instructions, policies and procedures.
• Maintain plant availability and operational stability in accordance with required standards
• Planned maintenance, schedules, and shutdowns 

• Overtime will be worked when so required
• Acting in higher position when so required
