Reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, an opportunity exists for an exceptional Maintenance Planner to join the Oaky Creek Coal team.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Maintenance Planner with proven experience developing, maintaining and administering maintenance plans for both new and existing equipment.

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with Maintenance and Production supervisors to maintain work‑management compliance and uphold the GCAA Asset Management Framework.
Identify safety and business risks related to work management and recommend mitigations.
Create and maintain short‑ and long‑term maintenance plans for assets across the site.
Administer the site maintenance system (SAP) to support safe, reliable coal production.

About you

At Oaky Creek Coal we hire for attitude and train for skill. We’re looking for adaptable, self‑driven people who think critically. As our Maintenance Planner you will:

Have practical knowledge of SAP PM, including master data management, functional locations (FLOC), bill of materials (BOM), maintenance plans, FMECA tools, maintenance tactics development, and data‑cleansing activities.
Hold a trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical or have equivalent experience in a similar role.
Be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Be able to interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals and relevant standards.
Operate with high levels of organisation, efficiency and resourcefulness.

This is a Monday - Friday or nine-day fortnight position.
