What are we looking for?
We are seeking a self-motivated Stores Officer to join our winning team. Reporting to the Contracts and Warehouse Superintendent, this role will see you work within a highly experienced team, that is extremely focused on achieving high performance that supports operational requirements. This role is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, control and distribution of materials, tools and equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The position is permanent full time, working a Monday to Friday dayshift roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Receive, inspect, reconcile, and store incoming goods and materials.

Load and unload deliveries and dispatches using mobile plant equipment, including forklifts.

Manage stock control activities, including stock issues, returns, stocktakes, and inventory record maintenance.

Ensure procurement and stock control documentation is accurate and up to date.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting resource requirements to support operational targets.

Provide counter service and support to internal stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projects.

Prepare reports relating to orders, deliveries, and inventory management.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
-
Experience in the receival, handling and dispatch of items and equipment in the mining and/or industrial sector.

A current Forklift Operating licence.

Proficiency in MS Office and SAP (Materials Management) is desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
