About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Reliability Analyst to join our dynamic and successful team.  As a valued member of the Maintenance team and reporting directly to the Mechanical Engineering Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Understand and be able to articulate the key concepts underpinning mobile mining asset health, condition monitoring and non-destructive examination.

• Demonstrate previous experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis and/or general fault finding.

• Demonstrate previous experience in coordinating parts, labour and tooling to address mobile asset breakdowns.

• Demonstrate knowledge in mining equipment Time Categorization Models as well as key concepts and metrics such as equipment availability, Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time to Repair.

• Possess demonstrated data analysis and continuous improvement competencies in a mining environment.

• Possess Level 2 Lubrication Analyst certification or demonstrated equivalent experience.

• Candidates with any additional qualifications in the areas of vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing and Lean Six Sigma credentials will be preferentially looked at.

• Well-developed technical skills and personal attributes,

• Relevant trade and/or engineering qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an open-cut coal mine.

• Genuine commitment to safety and strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
