Work with a global industry leader in an exciting Engineering role at Ulan Underground Mine. We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Coordinator to join the Engineering Team reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer. You will proactively monitor compliance of site electrical engineering, maintenance and contractor management standards, implement and monitor operational plans, achieve work schedules and ensure the delivery of outputs are met.

Requirements of the role include:

  • Proactively monitor equipment reliability and implement continuous improvement
  • Assist in Managing capital and operating projects adding value to the business
  • Assist the maintenance department in engineering assignments and implement safety, reliability and cost improvements
  • Working toward your electrical engineering certificate of competence
  • Technical assistance in the coordination and supervision of production and maintenance activities in all areas of the mine.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience in maintenance practices in an underground longwall coal operation
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to apply risk management principles to ensure safe work practices
  • Strong project management skills
