Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, an opportunity exists for a proactive and highly organised Human Resources Administrator to join the Oaky Creek Coal team.

This is a key role with a strong focus on payroll accuracy and ownership, where attention to detail and accountability are critical to success.

As a valued member of the team, you will be challenged and rewarded, knowing your work has a direct and positive impact on the business and its people.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Taking ownership of time and attendance management as part of the site payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Maintaining employee records and supporting HR systems and processes
  • Working collaboratively with site-based personnel across all departments
  • Coordinating and supporting community and employee engagement initiatives
  • Actively contributing to the day-to-day HR operations at Oaky Creek Coal
  • General administrative duties as required

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, self-driven, and takes pride in delivering accurate and high-quality work.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-level administrative or payroll-focused role
  • Demonstrated experience managing payroll with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to support a dynamic mining operation
  • Experience with Workday, SAP and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
