Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the primary purpose of this role is to work in a team environment providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective stores and warehousing functions. In this role you will be responsible for:
Warehouse Operations

Ensure speedy resolutions of supply, procurement and logistical issues as required.

Receipt and dispatch of goods in a timely manner.

Resolution of discrepancies found during processing of receipts, or escalation of issue if required
-
Accurate locating of inbound goods to maintain integrity of stock.

Process parts identified by relevant team member as priority during receipting of stock if required.
-
Process items in dispatch area for return in a timely manner.
-
Support proper cataloguing processes by ensuring that the appropriate catalogue details are applied.

Engage with customers and vendors to improve practices procedures and output.

Action customer’s critical path requirements to ensure events are resolved successfully – this may mean becoming involved in expediting emergency parts if required.

Develop and follow documented procedures, policies and KPI.
-
Provide miscellaneous supply support to maintenance activities.

Ensure appropriate security measures are in place as required – offices secured, desirable items secured
Planned Maintenance Support

Liaise with the relevant maintenance planners/schedulers to identify required planned parts for maintenance activities
-
Ensure speedy resolutions of supply, procurement and logistical issues as required
-
Determine parts requirements from work orders to ensure the timely availability of parts for maintenance activities
-
Ensure timely return of surplus stock for credits are processed to suppliers within OEM return timeframe criteria

Manage and consolidate all material/items into appropriate job lots/staging areas in the warehouse and ensure the timely delivery of parts to meet scheduled maintenance start dates and times

Continuously seek improved ways to meet customer objectives

Monitor and advise on improvement opportunities regarding documented procedures, policies and KPI.

Engage with customers and vendors to improve practices procedures and output
Inventory Management

Carry out stock take activities as requested.

Provide support in review and revision of inventory storage.

Provide support in end of month activities.
