Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, you are dedicated to providing leadership to your team. You will be required to deliver service and expertise so that your team sustains high levels of plant and equipment safety, availability, reliability and operational performance. Your focus is always ensuring the health and safety of our people while meeting organisational goals and statutory compliance.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and coordinate the team operating conveyors, feeder pumps, cyclones, screens, and related processing equipment at Oaky Creek Coal.
• Optimise maintenance and operational activities to minimise downtime.
• Analyse delays, implement corrective actions, and improve equipment availability.
• Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships.

About you:

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high-performance safety culture
• Formal qualifications in engineering or a trade
• Solid supervisory background, particularly within Coal Handling Plants
• Experience in comparable roles across mining or materials-handling operations
• Strong planning and coordination abilities, able to perform well under pressure
• Keen attention to detail, supported by clear written and verbal communication
• Proficient user of SAP
